LOS ANGELES – Miley Cyrus is one of the artists who will pay tribute to Chris Cornell on Wednesday evening. The Soundgarden singer died in 2017 at the age of 52.
Fiona Apple, Brandi Carlile, Adam Levine, Ziggy Marley, Taylor Momsen and Chris Stapleton can also be heard during the tribute, as the organization announced on Tuesday. Earlier it was already known that the other members of Soundgarden and Foo Fighters, Metallica, Ryan Adams, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave perform. It is the intention that all artists take a certain time out of the musical career of Chris.
The tribute is organized by Chris’s family and friends, including Jimmy Kimmel, who presents the evening. The proceeds go to the Chris & Vicky Cornell Foundation, an organization that founded the singer with his wife to help underprivileged children.
