A series of commemorative events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War continues throughout the world. Today in London, the Memorial Day was held, in which members of the royal family took part. While Prince Charles, William and Harry went to the cenotaph (a national monument, which honors the memory of those killed in the First and Second World Wars as well as in all other battles), to lay memorial wreaths, 36-year-old Kate Middleton and 37-year-old Megan Markle, Queen Elizabeth II, Duchess of Cornish and the wife of German President Elke Budenberder watched a national parade from the balcony of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This time the images of both duchess turned out to be very similar. Both Megan Markle and Kate Middleton wore elegant black coats and charming hats. Both had a red poppy-like brooch on their chest as a symbol of the memory of the victims of World War I (the number of poppies equals the number of relatives killed in the war).
Interestingly, the coat for Kate Middleton was custom-made, and it belongs to the authorship of the fashion house Alexander McQueen. But her headdress, most likely – from Lock & Co.
The hair of both was tied up in neat bunches. And in the make-up of both, first of all the bet was made on the eyes, while they made up their lips with inconspicuous nude lipstick.
