Mark McMorris Canadian Professional Snowboarder who used to specialize in the slope-style and big air events got seriously injured in the back-country near Whistler, Canada.
He had to go through two surgeries for the severe injuries that includes “a fractured jaw, fractured left arm, ruptured spleen, a stable pelvic fracture, rib fractures and a collapsed left lung.”
Mark McMorris was enjoying his best season after his previous injury of broken femur. But these injuries could be a more serious setback.
According to news around the internet these injuries were due to crash and not due to any type of avalanche. McMorris was filming with his brother Craig who himself is an experienced athelete and X Games commentator. McMorris was air lifted for the medical help from the crash scene.
