Mariah Carey will be admitted on June 11 in the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the American Hall of Fame for songwriters. The organization behind the gallery of honor announced on Thursday that it had included The Neptunes and Eurythmics in addition to Carey.

In addition to Carey, Eurythmics and Neptunes, the members of soul group The Isley Brothers, Steve Miller of the band named after him, songwriter Rick Nowels and William ‘Mickey’ Stevenson, known for Motown music, will be members of the Songwriters Hall of June 11 Fame.

Carey is the artist with the most number 1 hits in the United States. The singer co-wrote eighteen of her nineteen top prizes. Carey is the first artist with a number 1 hit in the American Billboard hit list in four different decades.

The 49-year-old American thinks her inclusion in the gallery of honor is a great honor. She feels humble in the company of so many talented songwriters, the singer says on Thursday via Twitter .
