British police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the attack at a concert hall in Manchester during the Ariana Grande (28) concert in 2017. The attack killed 22 people and injured 237. The man, arrested on his return to Manchester airport, is suspected of preparing or assisting terrorism.

Earlier this week it was announced that the older brother of the two men who committed the attack has left England. This Ismail Abedi was to be heard on Thursday about his brothers’ motives.

Salman Abedi blew himself up at the end of Ariana Grande’s concert. Hashem Abedi was sentenced to 55 years in prison last year for preparing the attack with his brother. The investigation team called on the third brother to come forward quickly. The link between the man who has now been arrested and the three brothers has not been disclosed.

In an interview with British Vogue , Ariana said the attack left her with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Under the name One Love Manchester , the singer organized a benefit concert for the victims. Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus, among others, performed.
