The 38-year-old reality star and mother of four, who documented her drastic weight loss on the show From Not to Hot, became Marilyn Monroe for a new photoshoot of the channel that broadcasts her show. In the images, June wears a blonde wig with short wavy hair, next to a white dress, the look that became famous thanks to the Hollywood sexual icon in the 1955 film Some Like It Hot.
A behind-the-scenes video shows June smiling and holding her dress as it moves around her, a tribute to the famous scene in the film in which the Monroe character stands on a subway sewer and her dress flies while the train passes.
The reality star also lets herself be seen smiling in approval of her photos.
Currently, From Not to Hot is in its second season. The first showed how June lost a large amount of weight.
The star, whose real name is June Shannon , came to weigh more than 208 kilos and lost more than 136 kilos. She underwent a gastric sleeve operation in 2015 and also went on a diet and exercised with an instructor. He also did some plastic surgeries, such as a tummy tuck and a breast lift, as well as surgery to remove excess skin from his arms and neck. June says she does not plan on performing more cosmetic procedures
The second season of Form Not to Hot continues her life with her children, including Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, who previously starred in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, who received her first daughter in December. Season two shows how Pumpkin goes into labor, while June undergoes surgery on her eyes.
