Singer Katy Perry celebrated her 35th birthday by flying with 64 of her closest friends to Egypt.
The singer, who turned one more year on October 25, marked the occasion with a fun-filled 10-day cruise on the Nile River, riding camels through the desert and enjoying the sunset over the pyramids, all of which was captured in a whirlwind of social media photos, reports the Daily Mail.
Among the guests was his fiance Orlando Bloom, 42, who used his Instagram to share several photos of the tour, including one of a romantic hug with Perry with the sunset behind him.
As Bloom also shared images overlooking the desert, he wrote that both Perry and his mother Sonia were celebrating their birthday together.
He captioned the images: “It’s like looking at the whole cosmos: Egyptian magic opened my heart to a discharge of love for the wonderful women of Scorpio celebrating their # birthday.”
