Kanye ‘Ye’ West (45) has lost access to his Twitter account just a day after making his return to the messaging site.
A Twitter spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that his account has been locked because Ye violated the rules and guidelines. It is not clear how long the rapper has been without access to his account.
The measure is probably related to a tweet with anti-Semitic texts, which has since been removed. Ye has already been subject to restrictions by Instagram. According to NBC, that sanction would also have to do with anti-Semitic statements.
It’s not the first time Kanye’s social media accounts have been restricted. He was banned from Instagram for 24 hours earlier this year for making racist comments about The Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
