On Sunday, January 1st, Jeremy Renner was taken to the hospital via airlift after an accident involving a 14,300 pound snowplow.
The incident occurred while he was assisting a family member in freeing a car that was stuck near his residence in Reno, Nevada. Renner sustained injuries including chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.
The actor Jeremy Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye, shared a photo of his home on Instagram while he is recovering in the hospital from an accident that occurred on his property involving a snowplow on New Year’s Day. The photo showed a snowy scene of his home in the Reno area of Nevada with a significant amount of snow piled up on snowbanks, roofs and trees.
He captioned the photo with “Missing my happy place…”, indicating how much he misses his home while he is recovering.

As reported by People magazine, on January 1st, Jeremy Renner was airlifted to a local medical center after he was run over by an “extremely large piece of snow-removal equipment” he owns, as he was clearing his driveway and helping his neighbors remove snow after a significant snowfall in the area.
According to a statement from his representative, he suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and underwent emergency surgery the next day. He spent his 52nd birthday in the hospital and last shared an update
on January 14th, when he posted a video of himself being taken to a medical scan on his Instagram story and wrote “I wish you all a very special night.”
