The documentary ‘Halftime’ about the life of American singer Jennifer Lopez (52) will be released on Netflix in June. The film gives “an extraordinary look into Jennifer Lopez’s career and reveals the enormous perseverance and determination of the artist,” Netflix reported on Wednesday.

The film focuses mainly on ‘the second part’ of the 52-year-old singer’s life, ‘in which she exposes her development as a Latina, mother and artist.’
Jennifer Lopez, also known by her nickname J.Lo, broke through as a singer in 1999 with a mix of pop, R&B and Latin. She had big hits in the 90s and 2000s with the likes of ‘Waiting For Tonight’, ‘Jenny From The Block’, ‘Let’s Get Loud’ and ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’. With over 21 million different monthly listeners, she is currently one of the two hundred most streamed artists in the world. As an actress, she has starred in dozens of films, the most recent of which is Marry Me from 2022.
