A couple from the US state of Utah literally tied the knot this month. The bride and groom work as stunt woman and man in the film industry, and decided to take their work with them to their wedding. A TikTok video of the stunt has since been viewed millions of times.
Ambyr and Gabriel Jessop are professional stuntmen who did the dirty work for actors in several Hollywood productions. The two met on a movie set in 2019, Business Insider writes . They thought it would be a good idea to celebrate their shared passion with a special stunt at their wedding. It was a surprise for the guests.
The party’s DJ filmed Ammyr and Gabriel holding hands and performing their stunt on fire. The couple had no idea that they would post the video on TikTok. There the images went viral: they have already been viewed more than 16 million times.

“It wasn’t meant to be on the internet,” the couple said. Fortunately, the reactions were mostly positive. “It was so nice that people could see our chemistry, and that we did something original instead of a regular wedding like most people have.”
Wig
For the stunt, the back of Ambir’s dress was set on fire. Her bouquet of flowers also caught fire. Gabriel’s suit was set ablaze. The two wore special fire-resistant clothing, which they know from their work. Ammyr wore a wig, among other things, so that her hair would not catch fire.
To be on the safe side, the fire brigade was also on hand for the wedding, but the newlyweds got away without moving house.
