Jennifer Lopez (50) and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez (44) walked into a protest march to draw attention to the Black Lives Matter movement. The singer shares images of the demonstration on Instagram on Monday.
“We talked about the fact that if a person doesn’t get justice, nobody gets it”
J.Lo says in the caption of the video that her son Max (12) had crafted a plate for her. The cardboard plate shows BLM in large letters with the hashtag #EnoughIsEnough underneath. A-Rod also held a sign during the march. It said ‘Let’s Get Loud for Black Lives Matter’ referring to Jennifer’s 1999 mega hit.
“We talked about the fact that if a person doesn’t get justice, nobody will. That this country was built on the principles of freedom and justice for everyone ‘, the singer writes in the caption. “We must stand for what we believe and fight against inequalities in this world. We therefore continue to protest peacefully until change comes. ”
