The Oscar-winning actor is in final negotiations to play his supervillain Electro.

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is in “final talks” to reprise his supervillain Electro, from Amazing Spider-Man 2, in next year’s Spider-Man installment.

But instead of Andrew Garfield, the 52-year-old Texan would face Tom Holland in the sequel to last year’s Spider-Man: Far from Home, which begins filming in Atlanta.

Spider-Man: Far from Home, amassed $ 1.132 million at the global box office, and has an impressive 90% Rotten Tomatoes Certified Rating.

Jamie’s character, Max Dillon, started out as an electrical engineer with a bad hairdo before transforming into a powerful electric creature after an accident at Oscorp involving electric eels.
