Hit-series Orange is the New Black, one of the figureheads of streaming service Netflix, stops after seven seasons. The final series in the series about the insights of the prisoners in the Litchfield complex will be launched on Netflix in 2019.
The cast announced the stop of the series on Wednesday night on Twitter. The series is praised for the realistic way in which the problems that occur in American society are depicted in the closed community where women from all backgrounds are forced to live together.

The series is based on the book by Piper Kerman, a well-to-do person in his thirties who had to go to jail for fifteen months because of a minor offense. Orange is the New Black has won many dozens of prizes in recent years, including several Primetime Emmys and several Screen Actors Guild Awards for best ensemble.
It is, after the retirement of House of Cards next month, the second prominent series where Netflix says goodbye in a short time.
