The adventures of the superhero will continue, but in the format of the television series.
In the Marvel cinematic universe, only one of the six original Avengers did not get a separate film. This is Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye. Unlike his long-time companion to the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), who will finally receive a solo picture next year, the hero Jeremy Renner will move to television, becoming one of the main characters in the upcoming series for the Disney + platform. At the same time, according to the initial plans of the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feigi, Hawkeye should also appear in his own movie, but in the end it was decided that the archer would look better on a small screen.

Renner himself readily accepted this outcome, immediately agreeing to participate in the television show offered to him. Feigi said:
He [Renner] did not hesitate for a long time and told me: “Yes, let’s do it.”
The series Falcon Eye was announced back in April, although it is clear that negotiations between Faigi and Renner took place long before that. The show’s runner will be Jonathan Eagle, while the series will be released at the end of 2021. Along with Clint Barton, the key character on the television show will be Kate Bishop, which Hayley Steinfield is supposed to play. In the story, Barton will take Kate under his care, so that in the future she will become his successor as the new Hawkeye.
