The actress thinks Netflix’s decision is fair.
Gwyneth Paltrow has done a lot to grow her lifestyle company GOOP in recent years, and Netflix’s recent decision to renew the business documentary series GOOP Laboratory seems to confirm that the actress is heading in the right direction.
According to Variety, the show will return to screens with six new 30-minute episodes focusing on sex, intimacy and the empowerment of women. True, production has not yet begun, and a premiere date has not been set.
The first season of Goop Labs detailed the Paltrow Corporation’s topics, from the female orgasm to psychedelics and energy healing. All of them have been adapted into videos under the guidance of alternative medicine practitioners and Goop staff.
It is curious that the show was extended, despite the violent reaction of viewers who accused Paltrow of spreading pseudoscience. The actress herself has previously stated that she is not going to change the topic of conversation just “in order to please everyone.”
We do our business absolutely honestly, and we like what we do. And it doesn’t matter what others write about us,
Gwyneth said.
