The Fox channel has just ordered the pilot of a series that will be based on the bestseller “Gone Baby Gone”, already adapted on the big screen in 2007 by Ben Affleck.

Ten years after going on the big screen, the bestseller Gone Baby Gone is getting ready for a TV adaptation. The Variety website reports that the Fox channel has just ordered the pilot of a series based on the work of Dennis Lehane.

Written by Robert Levine, this drama still lacking an official title will follow the daily lives of two detectives, Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro, “armed with their intelligence, their knowledge of the street and their undeniable alchemy.” Together, in a neighborhood of Boston, they try to repair injustices when the law is not able to do it.

The novel Gone Baby Gone was adapted on the big screen in 2007 by Ben Affleck. For what was then his first accomplishment, the American directed his brother  Casey and Michelle Monaghan,  who were investigating the kidnapping of a little girl …
