Glennis Grace (44) plans to go to the application center in Ter Apel himself to give things to the refugees who have been sleeping in the open air there for nights. She calls on her followers on Instagram to contribute.
“I want to help”
“Everyone now knows the situation in Ter Apel and the hundreds, hundreds of refugees who are trapped there and left to their fate under appalling conditions,” Glennis says in a video. “I want to help, my team of friends wants to help and we have decided to drive there next Sunday with the necessary equipment that is needed there.”
People who also want to donate something can hand it in at addresses in Amstelveen and Purmerend. “So that we can drive there with a very large group to deliver this. Let’s do these guys. It needs to stop.”
Glennis is not the first Dutchman to view the situation in Ter Apel with sorrow. Numerous acquaintances already expressed their disapproval via social media.
Which girlfriend will not come along is Berget Lewis, because she has little contact with Glennis after the Jumbo riot. Glennis reportedly beat a branch of the supermarket chain and its employees with a vigilante group.
