Two coordinated attacks were carried out on Friday morning in the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou, writes Le Figaro. Four armed men tried to get into the French embassy, and after that failed, a fierce fire broke out between the policemen and the attackers. French special forces were also sent to the scene.

At the same time, an explosion was reported about one kilometer from the embassy, which could have been local security forces, but it is still confusing. The French Institute is on this part too.
In the past two years, terrorist attacks have been carried out on restaurants in the Burkina Faso capital. In 2016, thirty people were killed by gunmen in the city center, and in 2017, two jihadi 18 people were killed.
