The actress only joined the rest of the cast at its premiere at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Emma Watson has stopped promoting her new movie ‘Little Women’ and reportedly only agreed to appear at the movie’s premiere earlier this month.
The British actress, who plays Margaret ‘Meg’ March in the new film version of Greta Gerwig, from Louisa May Alcott’s novel, informed Sony Pictures that she would only join co-stars Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet and Meryl Streep at its premiere in New York, at the Museum of Modern Art in the city.
A source told the publication: “Emma’s representatives told Sony that they would only make the premiere. We really don’t know what happened, if she wasn’t happy with the movie or fought with the cast. ”
While the rest of the cast has been promoting the film, another source claimed that Emma skipped the tour, since she was not a main character in the film, but insisted that she was delighted with the way the project ended and has been driving the movie on social networks.
Little Women opens in theaters on December 25.
