The last broadcast of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ will take place on May 26, the program announced on Wednesday. At the same time, a list was also shared with famous stars who visit the presenter one last time.
Among others, former first lady Michelle Obama, reality star Kim Kardashian, actors Zac Efron and Channing Tatum, singer Gwen Stefani and tennis star Serena Williams join the talk show host who has been making her own program since 2003.
In a statement, the program said that the guest list “does justice to the groundbreaking presenter” and that the stars together with Ellen reminisce about their favorite memories of the program that ran for nineteen seasons.
Last year it was announced that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would end after almost two decades. Ellen wanted to do something different, because she was no longer challenged in making her show.
