The Egyptian actress Rania Youssef runs a prison sentence because she wore a black, transparent dress during the closing ceremony of the Cairo International Film Festival Thursday.
The problem according to two Egyptian lawyers is that her legs were completely visible.
They are now filing a lawsuit against the 45-year-old actress. With her choice of clothing, Youssef would have shown no respect for Egyptian norms and values.
On Twitter, the actress has now apologized for her outfit.
The case comes to court in January, Youssef hangs over five years in prison.
