More and more actors of the original picture are taking part in the restart.
In the “Halloween” of 2018, many actors who starred in the 1978 film of the same name returned to their roles. Donald Pleasence, who played Dr. Sam Loomis in the original film, was unable to do this because he died in 1995. In 2018, his character was included in the film thanks to a scene with an audio recording left by Loomis, allegedly made back in 1979.

The Dark Universe website reports that in the second part of the Halloween Kills trilogy, Sam Loomis’s participation will be more significant. It is still unknown how the creators will implement this. Whether archival recordings will be used, viewers will be shown a figure without a face, or Malcolm McDowell, who played Sam Loomis in 2007 and 2009, will be invited to play the role of a doctor. In addition, according to the site, two more actresses will return to their roles. Kayla Richards, who played in the 1978 film Lindsay Wallace, a little girl in whose house Michael Myers attacked friends Laurie Strode, and Nancy Stevens as the nurse Marion Chambers.

The premiere of “Halloween Kills” is scheduled for October 16 this year, and the third part of the trilogy “Halloween ends” is due out on October 15, 2021.
