Dolly Parton (76) is on Instagram to remember the death of the British Queen Elizabeth II. With her post, the singer also shares a photo from 1977 in which she can be seen with the Queen.

“I had the honor of meeting Queen Elizabeth II,” Dolly writes of the 1977 performance she gave for Queen Elizabeth. He was then 25 years on the throne. The photo accompanying the condolence was taken after that performance.
She calls the princess who died at the age of 96 ‘gracious’ and says she admires her life force. ‘May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.”
