Demi Lovato has heard something for the first time since she was hospitalized two weeks ago after a suspected overdose. The singer thanks in a message on Instagram among others her fans and family for the support she receives.
“I’ve always been open about my fight with my addiction,” writes the 25-year-old Lovato. “I’ve learned that this disease does not just happen, I have to overcome it myself, and that’s what I’m doing now, I thank God that I’m still alive.”
Lovato also thanks the staff at the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles where she currently resides. “Without them I would not be able to write this letter to all of you now, I need time to get better and focus on my withdrawal and recovery, I will never forget your love and I look forward to the day I can say that I am back again, I keep fighting. ”
Support from other celebrities
The personal message Lovato receives a lot of acclaim from other celebrities. Amongst others, Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Baldwin, Sam Smith and Macklemore put a lot of heart to the singer.
“Oh, honey … I send you a lot of love,” writes Lopez. Paris Hilton reports: “I love you so much”. Hailey Baldwin sends Lovato hearts emoji, where Sam Smith describes his colleague as “a beautiful woman who is an inspiration to many”.
“You know you are a fighter, focus on yourself and know that everyone is there for you, you are loved,” says Khloé Kardashian. “You’ll be better off here, stay strong,” writes Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson under the message.
Macklemore placed a personal message: “I send you love, Demi, I myself have gone wrong again very often, but the people who could help me become healthy again were always there for me with unconditional love and support. I’m here for you Remember: watch it per day. ”
