French editions, among them Figaro and Closer, reported that the famous German designer, creative director of Chanel Karl Lagerfeld died at the age of 85 years after health problems that the craftsmen pursued in recent weeks.
Lagerfeld died in a hospital in Paris, located in the Neuilly-sur-Seine area. The cause of death of the designer was pancreatic cancer. About this with reference to a source close to Lagerfeld, reported the publication The Mirror.
He did not spread about his illness, but he bravely fought against it. Karl was very proud of his health and the right lifestyle, so pancreatic cancer was a real shock,
– Journalists cite insider words.

Recall that on a couture week in Paris, he first did not go to the bow after the show. Then it was explained by fatigue couturier.

The famous designer was born in Hamburg on September 10, 1933. In 1952, he moved to Paris to study at the High Fashion Syndicate, and two years later he won the first prize at a competition of young fashion designers – he saw the announcement about him by chance in the subway. Lagerfeld was noted for the design of the coat (for the design of the dress, by the way, then Yves Saint Laurent was noted). The jury was Hubert de Givenchy, Pierre Cardin and Pierre Balmain, who later became Lagerfeld’s assistant.

From 1983 until his death, Karl Lagerfeld was the permanent creative director of the House of Chanel. The designer also had his own brand, and together with Sylvia Venturini he created Fendi collections.
