Country music artist Colt Ford is currently in a “stable but critical condition” following a heart attack that struck him after a concert.
Confirmation of Ford’s medical emergency came via a press release from his representative to NBC News, revealing that the incident occurred on April 4 after his performance at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Gilbert, Arizona.
As per the release, Ford is presently receiving care in the intensive care unit at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.
Speaking to NBC News, Ford’s representative shared, “At this time, all I can really share is that he’s in stable but critical condition,” providing an update on Ford’s health status.
According to his official website, Ford’s tour was slated to continue with a stop in Primm, Nevada, on April 5, with scheduled performances across the country extending into August.

The country artist’s latest album, “Must Be The Country,” made its debut in May 2023, featuring singles like “Far Too Long” released in February and “Beers Back” in March.
Known for blending country music with rap, Ford has built a reputation in the industry, collaborating with prominent figures such as Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Jermaine Dupri, among others, throughout his career.
