The birthday party of the son of Kevin Hart has given the comedian and his wife a lot of criticism. For the first anniversary of Kenzo, Kevin and Eniko organized a game with the theme ‘Cowboys and Indians’.
Eniko shared some photos of the party on Instagram, with the little one wearing a cowboy outfit. In a group photo, on which some guests had a blanket in the style of the original inhabitants of America, they wrote: “The Cowboy & Indians party of Zo was great, thanks for coming everyone, we love you.”

Thereupon she received comments from a large number of followers about cultural appropriation. Some people only shared their opinion that a culture should not be reduced to a dress-up game, others accused the Afro-American family Hart of cheering “genocide, white domination and slavery” with the children’s party. Also asked someone if they were planning to give a ‘Nazis & Jews’ party next year.
A spokesperson for Kevin did not respond to requests from US media for a response this weekend.
