Jenna Dewan has requested divorce almost seven months after her break with actor Channing Tatum. The actress wishes to receive partner alimony from her ex, but the actor would not be willing to pay this to her.
This is evident from court documents that TMZ received. “Incompatible differences” are the reason for the divorce according to Dewan.
The 37-year-old Dewan also wants to divide custody of their daughter with the 38-year-old Tatum, something he would agree with.
In 2013 they had daughter Everly, eight years after they got to know each other on the set of the dance film Step Up. They married in 2009.
At the beginning of April the couple announced to separate. “We have made the loving decision to separate, we have fallen for years, and nothing has changed how much we love each other, but love is a wonderful adventure in which we are currently moving in different directions.” in the joint statement that Tatum and Dewan shared at the time.
Tatum, known from films like Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street, would meanwhile be dating with singer Jessie J.
