Britney Spears (40) is said to have declined an interview with Oprah Winfrey (68) to talk about her problems. The singer shared on Twitter a (now deleted) link to a YouTube video in which she talks about what is bothering her.
“For me, this goes beyond giving a simple interview”
According to Britney, she received “numerous offers” to tell her story for a fee, but she did not take it. “I don’t think it’s relevant, getting paid to tell your story,” says the singer. “I think it’s a bit silly. I’ve had offers from Oprah and so many others for so much money, it’s insane. But I don’t want any of that. For me, this is more than just giving a simple interview.”
The 40-year-old American, who was under her father’s trusteeship for years and was only ‘released’ last year, therefore talks about all her problems herself. Although she deleted the video on her own channel, it can still be seen on other channels.
In her audio message, Britney speaks, among other things, about the fear she has for the judgment of others. In her own words, she now feels ‘more confident’ to openly share her experiences and she also does so to help others. “If you’re a crazy introvert like me who feels alone all the time, and you need a story to not make you feel alone, know that my life has been far from easy and you’re not alone. are.”
