Taylor Swift will release a new album in October. The singer announced this on Sunday when she received the MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for best video.
Swift said in her acceptance speech that her new record will be released on October 21. At midnight, the 32-year-old singer announced on Twitter that the album will be called Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life .
The album consists of thirteen songs. “The album is a collection of music all written around midnight, a journey through fear and sweet dreams,” the singer wrote at the announcement.
Midnights is Swift’s first record of new music since Evermore (2020).
