Brad Pitt (56) is being sued by a woman who claims to have been bullied by him talking about a possible marriage. The woman is now claiming damages of more than 85,000 euros, but lawyers for the actor say she was conned by an online scammer who pretended to be the actor. This reports ‘Page Six’.
“Every contact Christina has had is with people who have falsely pretended to be Brad Pitt”
Kelli Christina, the woman in question, claims to have paid $ 34,000 to have Brad show up at five different events, the proceeds of which would benefit his Make It Right foundation. The money from this foundation goes to rebuild the homes of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. According to Christina, she and the actor had built such a good relationship that the two even talked about getting married.
Brad’s legal team firmly contradicts this. According to them, it is a fraud and the actor never had contact with the woman. His foundation is also unaware of its existence and that is why his lawyers are asking to dismiss the case.
“Any contact Christina has had has been with people who have falsely impersonated Brad Pitt. Mr. Pitt has nothing to do with this case,” his lawyers said.
Christina is not satisfied with this and is determined to continue the case until she has justice.
