After a collaboration with H&M, singer Billie Eilish now also releases T-shirts at the Japanese clothing chain Uniqlo. She does not do this alone, but with the collaboration of the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
With a teaser on Instagram, Uniqlo announced that it is collaborating with Billie Eilish for a new collection. The Japanese clothing chain will release a series of twelve T-shirts featuring designs by eighteen-year-old pop star and Takashi Murakami.
The Japanese artist has previously joined forces with Billie. He was the director of her music video of ‘You should see me in a crown’ and they already made merchandising together. Murakami has also worked with other big names in the fashion world, such as Louis Vuitton and Supreme.
The T-shirts for Uniqlo are within the budget of a much larger audience: for adults there is a price tag of 14.90 euros, for those for children 9.90 euros. The collection will be available from May 25 through the webshop, on May 29 it will be on our shelves.
