The carpet track Met Gala 2018 in front of the Metropolitan Museum was perhaps the busiest place in New York last Monday. A dense wall of photographers surrounded the eminent guests, who only managed to give way to each other under camera flashes.
Many of the stars traditionally came to the Ball of the Costume Institute in the company of designers who created their outfits for this gala evening. Lana Del Rei and Jared Leto formed a trio with Alessandro Michele, Nicolas Gesquiere accompanied Emma Stone , Selena Gomez smiled next to Stuart Vivers.
Not all designers agreed to go deeper into the theme of Met Gala 2018 – “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, but each of them tried to create a bright evening image for the star.
