In the crash with an army helicopter in Mexico, at least thirteen people were killed. Initially, two deaths were assumed. Fifteen people were injured. The victims were not in the helicopter, but in vans on the ground.
The occupants of the helicopter survived the accident.The minister of the Interior and the governor of the southern state of Oaxaca were in the plane. They were slightly injured.
Earthquake
The minister and the governor made a flight over the area where an earthquake had occurred last night. There were no known deaths from the earthquake, which had a force of 7.2 and was felt in Mexico City. Dozens of buildings were damaged, however, and the power went out for a million people.
Earthquakes are common in Mexico, in September there were three. Nearly 500 people were killed and thousands of people were injured.
