We publish the most interesting quotes.
About kids:
My children know the real me, and they periodically help me return to myself. They have experienced a lot, and I constantly admire their inner strength and take an example from them.
About freedom:
I do not feel deprived of something. As a teenager, I constantly focused on what I don’t have. When I began to actively travel – I was 20 and a little, I suddenly realized how free I am in my actions and in life compared to many people in this world. For example, my childhood was free from war. Since then, every time I remember that I have freedom in creating a family, in creativity, and in general I can be myself. This is one of the reasons why I help girls in different countries. Seeing someone – especially young girls with so much potential – deprived of their freedom, is unbearable for me.
About the reasons for buying a house in Cambodia:
When you have such an active thought process as mine, you just need to periodically leave for a place that can calm you down. I found this state in the desert and in the jungle of Cambodia. When I first came to this country, it seemed to me that its inhabitants, who had survived so many wars and suffered so much suffering, should be embittered, but in reality – the opposite is true. They are filled with gratitude, full of life. This is the house and headquarters for my foundation, but I had to make a lot of efforts for this: for example, we found and neutralized about 50 minutes before we could live there.
About favorite places in the world and home in Africa:
My favorite place is where I have not been. I like to rush headlong into the unknown. I like to fall out of my comfort zone. I want the children to grow up in this world – not just know something about it, but live in it and have friends from all over the world. Next year we will build a house in Africa.
About moving to another country:
I would like to live abroad and I will definitely do it as soon as my children turn 18. Right now I have to live where their father lives.
