For the new Guardians Of The Galaxy film, Disney will use the script from the fired director James Gunn.
Gunn, according to The Hollywood Reporter despite his resignation by several studios and producers has been asked to join them. For the article, the trade magazine spoke with twelve high-ranking people working in the film industry, all of whom remain anonymous because the director can not officially talk to other parties before his resignation at Disney has been completed.
Gunn has received a lot of support from Hollywood since he was sent out because of tweets he sent between 2008 and 2011. Among other things, the cast of the Guardians Of The Galaxy films showed that they did not understand the decision of the studio. Actor David Bautista stated earlier this week that he will step out of the franchise if the script of Gunn is not used for the third part of the series.
Gunn also wrote and directed the first two Guardians films. That earned Disney 773 and 863 million dollars.
