Samsung Unveiled Gear Fit2 and Gear Iconx
Last week Gear Fit2 fitness band and Gear Iconx earbud set as unveiled last week. This Fitness gear would be available for US$180 on this Friday on major retailers.
This new Fitness Gear named Gear Fit2 has built-in GPS and its also equipped with heart rate monitor. Gear Iconx is a Bluetooth earbud pair that can track info regarding fitness and provide it to the Gear Fit2 users and also provide feedback regarding thier exercise.
Both the gadgets offer music access — Gear Fit2 has a music player and on the other hand Iconx earbuds its own internal memory storage up to 1,000 MP3s. Both the gears use Bluetooth.
Ramon Llamas research manager at IDC said to the media about the both the devices saying “With the Gear Fit2 and IconX, Samsung’s eliminating the need to have a separate fitness tracker and iPod,”It’s on to something here. Sure, music isn’t health and fitness per se, but people listen to music when they exercise, so it makes sense,”.
This Gear Fit2 by Samsung is full of features, has a 1.5″ Amoled Curved and colored touchscreen display, Gear Fit2 is also equipped with 4 GB of storage and 512 MB of Ram and its powered by dual core processor of 1GHz.
Gear Fit2 is running Samsung’s Tizen OS and it is also compatible with Andriod 4.4.
Samsung Iconx Bluetooth earbuds
Second gadget unveiled by Samsung is Pair of earbuds named Iconx. This pair of Bluetooth 4.1 earbuds Iconx come with 3 different sizes of wingtips and ear tips. The Bluetooth earbuds get activated automatically when placed in user’s ears.
