Justin Bieber, 28, waives the lawsuit he filed in Los Angeles against two women who accuse him of sexual abuse. The singer sued the ladies for libel, but has dropped the case, according to ‘Rolling Stone’.
The two women claimed to have been abused by Bieber (28) years ago on Twitter in 2020. The singer called the stories “outrageous, fabricated lies” and sued them for libel. Justin demanded damages of 10 million dollars from each, converted almost 9.1 million euros.
It is not known why the singer now waives the lawsuit. An insider tells TMZ that the Canadian made the decision because he made his point and wants to move on with his life.
Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement.
