As a great lover of ketchup, a wish was fulfilled for Ed Sheeran when he was approached by Heinz to create his own limited edition bottle. The 28-year-old singer, who even had a regular bottle tattoo put on his body, does this for the charities East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and Rise Against Hunger. He let this know on Instagram.
“There are only 150 of them in the world, that’s pretty cool, isn’t it?”
“There are only 150 of them in the world, that’s pretty cool, isn’t it? We’re raising money for charity. In my bio you can read how you can get one,” says Ed.
The ketchup brand is also happy with the collaboration. “Ed has been a fan of our ketchup all his life. In honor of our 150th birthday, we wanted to honor him and his tattoo by putting it in the center of the bottle. Only 150 bottles of the Tattoo Edition are released, packed in a luxury storage box. ” The famous Christie’s auction house, among others, will auction 3 bottles.
Sheeran even seems to be so fond of ketchup that his entourage must always have a number of ’emergency bottles’ with him while touring.
