Kazuma Kiryu and his fierce rival Ryuji Goda, aka the Kansai dragon, are ready to battle again in Yakuza Kiwami 2, a remastered version of Yakuza 2 scheduled by us by August 28 exclusively on PS4.

Just like Yakuza 6: The Song of Life ( launch still scheduled for April 17 ), the graphics engine of  Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be the impressive Dragon Engine. In addition to enjoying sumptuous graphics and immediate transitions between battles, as well as during explorations into buildings, restaurants, subways or shops, the Japanese publisher Sega announces that Yakuza 2’s dialogues and cinematics have have been re-recorded as closely as possible for this remastered version that will be released on PS4 at the end of August 2018.

With Yakuza Kiwami 2, players will be able to discover a new campaign with the character Goro Majima. An ideal opportunity to better understand the journey of Shimano’s mad dog between the end of Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Note that this opus will also offer many new mini-games such as Golf Bingo, the creator of clans of Majima or the original arcade version of Virtual On (a series of mechas fighting games), while having the opportunity to return to Cabaret Yakuza 0 to see the charming Yuki again.
