After smartphones, tablets, electric vehicles, drones and bonnets (we forget), Archos adds a new string to its arc already full: the PC all-in-one.
The French manufacturer unveils, a few days before the opening of the MWC, a new product that was not used to see the catalog, an all-in-one PC. The Vision 215 fits into a 21.5-inch (1,920 x 1,080) 16: 9 screen, with the rear base containing all the electronics. No surprise here, this is a fairly standard entry-level computer.
Entry level and small price
The PC has a four-core Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor running at 1.92 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, an integrated HD Graphics 400 graphics card, and 32 GB of eMMC storage (there is also a microSD card slot) and compatibility with 2.5-inch SATA format). On the back, also take place the essential ports and outputs to a basic versatility: 5 USB, an HDMI, a jack.
Archos also provides a keyboard and a mouse, as well as two speakers (which are not integrated in the PC block if you understand). The Vision 215 runs Windows 10 Home (64-bit), which will allow it to run all the most useful software for the whole family. The computer will be presented during the Barcelona show, and it will be on sale from May to 300 €.
This is not the first time that Arcos offers Windows PCs, but the preferred formats were so far tablets, laptops, or even hybrids . This new desktop is not unusual at first, but it could find its place among users on a tight budget.
