The benevolence of Hollywood actor George Clooney to his friends has been revealed. In fact, the 56-year-old actor gave 14 of his closest friends a million dollars.

Rande Gerber, husband of Cindy Crawford and one of Clooney’s friends has made this known on the US chain Headliners.
Gerber said Clooney called the group and said, ” There’s a group of guys we call ‘The Boys’. George called me and the Boys and said ‘Note on September 27, 2013 on your calendar, you are all invited to dine at my place. ”
When the 14 friends arrived, they found a briefcase on the table for each guest.
Clooney said, ” Listen, guys, I wanted to tell you how important you are in my life. When I arrived in LA, I slept on your couches. I’m so lucky to have you and I could not get where I am without you. So it was very important for me, since we are all here today, to reciprocate. I want you to open all your briefcase.

All taxes paid
The actor also revealed that he had paid all taxes so they would not have to pay taxes on the money he gave them.
Gerber continued, saying he was uncomfortable taking the money since he himself is a billionaire. So, he took Clooney aside and told him how he felt and Clooney’s reaction was hallucinating.
George told them, ” I’m just going to make an announcement: if Rande does not take a million dollars, nobody will get it.” Thinking of a man in their midst working in a bar and cycling to work just to support his family, Gerber took the money and gave everything to charity.
