A colorful procession took place yesterday in New York.
This year, with the World Pride parade, the LGBT community celebrated a round date, namely 50 years from the date of the Stonewall riots. Then, on June 28, 1969, the first mass protests against the police, which carried out raids in the gay bars of the city, began in New York.
Among those who were at the epicenter of yesterday’s events, was the Russian model Irina Sheik. She walked through the streets of New York in a T-shirt with a rainbow flag on her chest (a symbol of the LGBT movement) along with her friend, designer and creative director of Burberry Ricardo Tishi, photographers Luigi Mureno and Yango Henzi and other friends.
The parade ended with a grandiose performance by Madonna, who presented the tracks from her new album Madame X.
