Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Israeli lawmakers, and in his speech said that the Nazi Party, known as the NSDAP , was launched in Germany 102 years ago on February 24, exactly on the date when Russia invaded Ukraine, reports the BBC.
“They are saying these words again – the ‘final solution’ – they mean us, the Ukrainian people,” it was said at a meeting in Moscow, Zelensky said.
By the way, Zelensky is of Jewish descent, and some of his relatives died in the Holocaust.
‘They are saying these words again!’ He pointed out the term used by Putin and pointed out the coincidence of the date of the Russian invasion with the founding of the Nazi Party.
Recall, the ‘final solution’ was the name of the plan under which the Germans carried out the Holocaust in World War II .
He called on Israel to help the Ukrainian people in their resistance against the Russian army, and quoted former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir as saying “we want to live, but our neighbors want to see us dead.”

“We are staying, we are ready to compromise,” he added. In his speech, he drew a direct parallel between present-day Ukraine and the history of Israel facing Arab hostility.
He also called on the Israelis to give weapons to Ukraine and asked them why they are not imposing sanctions on Russia.
“The choice is yours, brothers and sisters, and you must live with your decisions,” he told them.
