The three previously arrested men allegedly involved in rapper Mac Miller’s death are being charged, Rolling Stone reports Wednesday evening.
Stephen Walter, Ryan Reavis and Cameron James Pettit were recently arrested for involvement in the death of the American rapper.
Prosecutors for the Central District of California accuse the three men of distributing the drugs that in all likelihood resulted in Miller’s death.
Pettit allegedly sold the rapper to drugs that, without Miller knowing, contained the substance fentanyl. This substance in combination with cocaine and alcohol eventually led to an overdose and the death of Miller.
Conspiracy and distribution of drugs
In the indictment, the men are accused of conspiring and distributing drugs. Walter will also be tried for possession of a firearm.
Pettit and Walter are expected to be presented on 10 October. Reavis will be brought as soon as he arrives in Los Angeles. He was arrested in Arizona and brought to Los Angeles by the Marshals Service. Lawyers were not immediately available for the three men.
