Paramount has announced the third film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For the new production, Andrew Dodge has been hired to write the script. The film is produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.
Variety writes that. With the third film, Paramount hopes to revive the brand name of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Ninja Turtles are four superheroes in the form of life-sized turtles named after Italian Renaissance artists: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. All four of them love pizza very much. Their teacher is a rat who teaches them the art of ninjutsu.
The first film was released in 2014 and generated some $ 493 million. The second film only yielded about half.
In both films the Ninja Turtles were played by Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher and Jeremy Howard.
