According to a statement released by Pentagon it is said that US has struck Syria with 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles which were fired at 04:40 Syrian time from the US Destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean.

This attack was launched after Bashar al assad attacked the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib province with the chemical weapon in which dozens of civilian including many children died on Tuesday.

This attack was carried out by the US Navey Destroyers USS Porter and USS Ross. Missiles were fired to target aircraft, aircraft shelter, Storage areas, ammunition supply bunkers, air defense systems, and radars at the Shayrat airfield.
