Check out Martin Scorsese’s Netflix The Irishman trailer with Robert De Niro.

Netflix unveiled a new trailer for The Irishman , directed by Martin Scorsese with Robert De Niro. This trailer was unveiled exclusively in Jimmy Fallon’s talk show and shows the main character through the decades.

The film used a process of digital rejuvenation to show a younger Robert De Niro during the Second World War.

The Irishman is described as an “epic saga about organized crime in the post-war United States”. The story is told by Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran, professional scammer and hitman, who collaborated with the most notorious gangsters of the 20th century.

The film, which takes place over several decades, recounts one of the greatest mysteries in the history of the country: the disappearance of the legendary trade union leader Jimmy Hoffa and takes us through the meanders of the hidden world of organized crime: its wheels, its rivalries and its close links with the political milieu.

The film brings together a cast of choice with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, Jesse Plemons, Domenick Lombardozzi, Paul Herman , Gary Basaraba and Marin Ireland.
