This “City of Lover concert”, in reference to Paris, often described as the city of love, was only the second concert of the American star in the French capital, eight years after the first, in 2011.
Taylor Swift canceled at the end of April the promotion tour of his album, dubbed “Lover Fest”, which was due to start on June 20 in Belgium. The 16-date tour included a visit to Nîmes on July 5.
